Overview

Wieża Anny is a reconstructed historic observation tower located on the summit of Wzgórze Gedymina in the spa town of Szczawno-Zdrój. The current structure replaced a nineteenth-century tower, originally named Anna-Turm, which was built in 1818 in honor of Anna von Hochberg. It offers a 360-degree panoramic view encompassing the Wałbrzych Mountains, the Sudetes, and the town center. The observation deck is accessible via an external metal staircase integrated into the modern wooden-frame construction. The site serves as a prominent vantage point within the local park network. It is situated at an elevation that provides clear sightlines to the Chełmiec peak and the surrounding forested terrain.
