Overview

Stratený budzogáň is a distinctive natural sandstone rock formation located in the Súľov-Hradná area of the Súľov Mountains in Slovakia. Standing approximately 14 meters tall, this geological monument resembles a massive mace or club, formed through centuries of erosion of the conglomerate rock layers. It is situated within the protected landscape area of Strážovské vrchy. The formation is a significant stop along the Súľov educational trail. The surrounding terrain is characterized by steep, forested slopes and smaller rocky outcrops typical of the Súľov crags. Access is exclusively via marked hiking trails through the wooded hillside.
