The beach is accessible only by foot, bicycle, or golf cart taxi from the main village of Lopud on the opposite side of the island. There is no vehicle traffic on the island. The area is naturally protected from strong winds due to its orientation.
The elevated path overlooking the bay on the trail leading from the Lopud village provides a panoramic view of the crescent-shaped coastline.
Wear water shoes if you prefer to walk on the slightly rocky margins of the bay, though the center is fine sand.
