The Industrial Palace was built in only four months for the 1891 Jubilee Exhibition.
The complex was the primary site for the 1891 General Land Centennial Exhibition, which introduced light bulb illumination to Prague on a grand scale.
The Sea World aquarium features a 100,000-liter tank designed to simulate a coral reef ecosystem.
The Křižík Fountain, located on the grounds, was originally created for the 1891 exhibition and later updated to include synchronized music and lights.
The grounds contain the Lapidarium of the National Museum, which preserves original stone statues removed from the Charles Bridge.
Exhibition Center Prague, known as Výstaviště Praha, is a historic functionalist and Art Nouveau complex located in the Bubeneč district. It serves as a multifunctional venue hosting trade fairs, concerts, and cultural festivals throughout the year. The site houses the Sea World aquarium, which features a large main tank with a walkthrough tunnel. The grounds include the Průmyslový palác (Industrial Palace), a prominent steel-and-glass building originally constructed for the 1891 General Land Centennial Exhibition. The complex is integrated into the vast Stromovka park, providing a mix of exhibition halls and green space. Recent renovations have focused on restoring the historical architecture of the central palace while updating event infrastructure. The area also hosts seasonal outdoor activities, including a historic fairground with functional rides.

Check the official event calendar online before visiting, as entire sections of the park may be restricted during large festivals.
Combine your visit with a walk through the adjacent Stromovka park, the largest green space in Prague.
Wear comfortable footwear as the grounds cover a large area with varying terrain, from paved paths to gravel sections.
Do not mistake the various event halls for permanent museums, as their interior exhibits rotate based on current bookings.
The Industrial Palace periodically closes for long-term historical reconstruction; check the website for current access restrictions to specific pavilions.
Plan for about 3-5 hours to see the highlights.
The best time to visit is Late spring or early autumn for outdoor events, or weekdays for fewer crowds at the aquarium..
