Originally built as a royal fortress to guard the border, it was significantly expanded in the 16th and 17th centuries before being abandoned. The remains primarily consist of a residential palace and a fortification wall with a bastille. The position offers an elevated vantage point over the Pavlovské vrchy hills and the surrounding Moravian vineyard landscape. It remains open to the public as an unfenced, freely accessible archaeological site. Due to its location in a nature reserve, movement is restricted to marked trails.
