Overview

Alms Park is a 94-acre hilltop urban park located in the Mount Lookout neighborhood of Cincinnati. The site is situated on a promontory overlooking the confluence of the Ohio and Little Miami rivers. It features a historic Mediterranean-style pavilion constructed in 1928, which serves as a central focal point for the park. The grounds are characterized by steep, wooded hillsides and expansive grassy meadows. A series of walking paths meander through the hilly terrain, providing panoramic views of the river valley. The park was donated to the city of Cincinnati by Frederick H. Alms in honor of his late wife, Elise. It is managed as part of the Cincinnati Parks system and remains open for public recreational use year-round.
