Parc del Mirador del Poble-sec, Passeig de Montjuïc, 28, Sants-Montjuïc, 08005 Barcelona, Spain
The park was designed to overcome the steep topography of the Montjuïc hillside, creating a functional bridge between the residential Poble-sec district and the parklands above.
It sits on land that was historically used for military fortifications before being integrated into Barcelona's larger urban park network.
The layout utilizes a system of interconnected, zigzagging ramps designed to make the steep incline manageable for pedestrians.
The viewpoint provides a direct line of sight toward the skyline of the Eixample district and the Mediterranean coastline.
Parc del Mirador del Poble-sec is a multi-level terraced park located on the northeastern slope of Montjuïc hill. It serves as a green connection between the Poble-sec neighborhood and the higher reaches of the mountain. The park features a series of interconnected platforms and ramps that offer sweeping views across the Barcelona city skyline and the Mediterranean Sea. It is integrated into the larger urban park system of Montjuïc, functioning as both a recreational space and a pedestrian thoroughfare. The landscaping incorporates Mediterranean flora, providing shade and seating areas designed to accommodate visitors transitioning between the city center and the summit. It is open to the public as an accessible urban green space.

Combine your visit with a walk through the neighboring Jardins de Mossèn Costa i Llobera for contrasting vegetation.
Visit during the shoulder season to avoid intense midday heat, as the park is largely exposed to the sun.
Do not rely on the park as a shortcut if you have limited mobility, as the incline is significant.
No specific dress code, though sturdy walking shoes are recommended due to the steep incline and uneven paving.
Plan for about 45-60 minutes to see the highlights.
The best time to visit is Late afternoon or early evening for golden hour light and cooler temperatures..
