The interior contains the cenotaphs of Ertuğrul Gazi and family members, draped in traditional fabrics. Outside the tomb, there is a small cemetery and an area dedicated to historical figures from the Kayı tribe. The site serves as a national symbol of Ottoman origins and sovereignty. Visitors can view the Changing of the Guard ceremony performed by soldiers in historic Ottoman-style uniforms.
