Torre de Cala en Basset is a 16th-century stone watchtower situated on a rugged cliff edge on the western coast of Mallorca. Built around 1583, it formed part of a defensive network designed to signal impending pirate attacks to the town of Andratx. The structure is cylindrical, constructed with local limestone, and remains largely unrestored, retaining its original rough architectural character. Visitors reach the tower via a steep, unpaved hiking trail that traverses Mediterranean scrubland.
