Overview

Ulubey Canyon is the second-longest canyon in the world, spanning approximately 75 kilometers in length. It features a prominent glass-bottom observation terrace extending over the Uşak-Ulubey plateau, offering vertical views of the canyon floor. The geological formation was created by the erosion of the Banaz and Ulubey streams. The site is a registered Nature Park managed by the local district authority. Infrastructure includes designated walking trails, picnic areas, and areas suitable for wild camping. The depth of the canyon reaches up to 170 meters in certain sections. Geographically, the area is located at the intersection of the Aegean and Central Anatolian regions. The terrain consists of multiple terraces formed by sedimentary shifts over geological time.
