Rōkandō Cave is a limestone cavern located in Sumita, Iwate Prefecture, designated as a Natural Monument by the Iwate Prefectural Government. The internal temperature remains consistently cool, hovering around 10 degrees Celsius regardless of the external weather. The cave is part of the larger Hayachine Quasi-National Park area. Visitors traverse a designated walking path that guides them through chambers featuring various stalactites and stalagmites.
