Overview

Kreager Park is a 52-acre public recreation area located on the former site of a large-scale potato farm. It serves as a major trailhead and anchor for the Fort Wayne Rivergreenway, a linear park system spanning over 25 miles. The site features the Taylor’s Dream Boundless Playground, a nationally recognized inclusive play space designed for children of all physical and cognitive abilities. Recreational infrastructure includes tennis courts, softball diamonds, and dedicated soccer fields. The park also provides access to the St. Joe River for non-motorized watercraft. Native landscaping and open green spaces occupy much of the acreage formerly dedicated to agriculture.
