Visitors can walk through the original torpedo rooms, living quarters, and the command center. The submarine retains much of its cold-war era technical equipment, including sonar and radio communications gear. It provides an immersive look at the claustrophobic living and working conditions experienced by a crew of approximately 78 sailors. The vessel spans over 90 meters in length and weighs nearly 2,000 tons. It is located directly at the quay, allowing easy access from the pier.
