The Glass Pear Tree in Orosháza is an artistic monument commemorating the town's historical connection to glassmaking. Standing at 4 meters tall, the sculpture consists of approximately 300 individual hand-blown glass elements. It was commissioned to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the town's founding and the closure of the local glass factory. The structure utilizes steel supports to hold the colored glass components, which refract sunlight during the day. It is located in the heart of Szabadság tér, the town's central square.
