Amethyst Cavern Park is a theme park built inside a former amethyst mine located in the Ulju-gun district of Ulsan. The site utilizes 2.5 kilometers of tunnels originally carved for gemstone extraction, with a total operational area spanning 16,500 square meters. The cavern maintains a constant interior temperature of 12 to 14 degrees Celsius throughout the year. Visitors can observe raw amethyst veins embedded in the cavern walls. The facility features a subterranean water boat ride through the flooded portions of the mine. Additional attractions include a fossil exhibition hall, an ice sculpture display, and various light installations within the rock passages. The exterior park area provides outdoor recreational spaces and garden displays near the cave entrance.
