The mountain features two main trailheads, the Beikengshan and the Shanghu trail, connecting hikers to the historic Malabang Ancient Trail. The terrain transitions from low-altitude secondary forests to high-altitude mist-shrouded forests, supporting a rich variety of plant life. Visitors can observe Japanese-era historical remnants, including a monument marking the Malabang Mountain incident of 1902. The peak offers panoramic views of the Dahu and Zhuolan townships, and on clear days, the peaks of Xueshan Range are visible.
