The terrain consists of rolling hills typical of the Appalachian plateau at an elevation of roughly 2,460 feet. During winter, the park remains open for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing depending on snowfall. Boat rentals, including kayaks and paddleboards, are available seasonally through third-party vendors within the park.
