Overview

Ada Bridge is a single-pylon cable-stayed bridge spanning the Sava River in Belgrade, connecting the municipalities of Čukarica and Novi Beograd. Completed in 2012, its central pylon stands 200 meters high, making it one of the tallest structures in the city. The bridge deck carries six lanes for road traffic, two tracks for light rail, and separate paths for pedestrians and cyclists. It was designed by the Slovenian firm Ponting and features a unique asymmetrical span distribution. The structure is illuminated by a dynamic LED system at night. It acts as a major artery in the city's inner magistral semi-ring road.
