Overview

Shri Radha Raman Temple is a historic Vaishnava temple founded in 1542 by Gopala Bhatta Goswami. The deity, Radha Raman, is a self-manifested saligrama shila. Unlike other temples where Radha is depicted beside Krishna, this temple features a singular form of Krishna that devotees worship as the embodiment of both Radha and Krishna. The temple follows strict Gaudiya Vaishnava traditions and maintains an ancient kitchen fire that has been burning continuously since the temple's inception. Its architectural style is distinct for its combination of traditional Hindu and Mughal influences. The temple is located in the heart of Vrindavan near the Yamuna riverbank. It remains a primary center for the worship of the Goswamis of Vrindavan.
