Overview

McAllister Park is a massive 976-acre municipal park located in North Central San Antonio, Texas. It features over 15 miles of both paved and unpaved multi-use trails suitable for hiking, mountain biking, and trail running. The facility includes extensive athletic fields, including baseball and soccer complexes, as well as multiple playgrounds and picnic areas. A dedicated, fenced-in dog park provides separate areas for large and small breeds. Much of the park remains undeveloped, preserving native Texas Hill Country flora and fauna. The park serves as a major hub for community sports leagues and organized races. Several large pavilions are available for group gatherings and public events.
