Overview

Seahurst Park Playground is a nature-integrated play area located within a 183-acre regional park on the shores of the Puget Sound. The playground features modern, accessible climbing structures and play equipment designed to blend with the surrounding forest canopy. It is situated at the terminus of a winding access road that descends from the residential bluffs of Burien. The park includes a mile of pebble beach, salmon-bearing streams, and extensive forested hiking trails. A massive environmental restoration project completed in 2014 improved the shoreline and creek habitats for local wildlife. The playground area is immediately adjacent to picnic shelters and public restroom facilities.
