Overview

Lam Takhong Dam View Point is a vantage point situated along the ridge of Khao Yai Thiang, overlooking the expansive Lam Takhong Reservoir. The site serves as the primary observation area for the Lam Takhong Pumped Storage Power Plant, which utilizes the elevation difference between the upper and lower reservoirs. Visitors can view the wind turbine field located on the plateau surrounding the upper reservoir. The area features a paved walkway along the edge of the reservoir for panoramic vistas of the surrounding Nakhon Ratchasima landscape. The site is physically located near the upper reservoir facility of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT).
