It is managed in proximity to the Necsa (South African Nuclear Energy Corporation) site. The path is marked and designed for moderate physical activity suitable for hikers with a base level of fitness. The environment serves as a sanctuary for local birdlife and small mammals within the Magaliesberg region. Trail navigation includes rocky climbs and river-side sections requiring sturdy footwear.
