The area features a natural rock formation that provides an elevated vantage point over the descending valley floor. Due to its position on a western-facing cliff, it provides direct lines of sight for sunset observation. The site is part of the broader Mahabaleshwar hill station circuit, located in the Satara district of Maharashtra.
