Overview

The Museum of Wax Figures in Jagodina is the first and only museum of its kind in Serbia. Opened in 2008, the facility houses over 30 life-sized wax figures of historical, cultural, religious, and political figures significant to Serbian history. The collection is arranged chronologically to reflect the development of the Serbian state and its identity. Key exhibits include figures such as Prince Lazar, Saint Sava, Nikola Tesla, and various modern sports icons like Novak Djokovic. The interior features thematic sets that recreate period-appropriate environments for the figures on display. The building is located within the broader Jagodina tourist complex, which includes a zoo and an aqua park.
