It acts as a transitional space between the residential street level of Deerpark Drive and the wild protected environment above. The trails are widely used by local residents for morning runs and dog walking. The park infrastructure is minimal, focusing on path maintenance rather than recreational park facilities like playgrounds or picnic benches.
