ECAS (Estación de Cría de Animales Silvestres) is a 200-hectare wildlife breeding and rehabilitation center located within the Pereyra Iraola Park. The station focuses on the reproduction of native species, particularly those in danger of extinction, as well as the rescue and rehabilitation of injured wild animals. Visitors can drive their own vehicles through the designated circuit, which allows for close observation of animals in semi-captivity. The facility emphasizes environmental education and scientific research conducted by the Buenos Aires provincial government. Many of the animals housed here are indigenous to Argentina, including deer, rheas, and various waterfowl. The terrain features a mix of eucalyptus forests, lagoons, and open grasslands that serve as natural habitats for the residents. It functions as both a sanctuary and a center for wildlife management and conservation.
