The Rõuge watchtower, known as 'Pesapuu' (Nest Tree), is a 30-meter high observation tower designed to resemble two giant bird nests. The structure is built from glue-laminated timber and steel, rising above the canopy of the surrounding forest. At night, the tower is illuminated by LED lighting, creating a distinct visual silhouette. It provides elevated views over the hilly landscape of the Rõuge valley and the nearby lake district. The design was inspired by the local environment, specifically the concept of bird nests. Visitors ascend via internal stairs to reach the top platform. It is located in Tindi village, within the Rõuge municipality of Võru County. The tower functions as a prominent landmark in the Haanja Nature Park region.
