Overview

Estate Singraven is a historic country estate located along the Dinkel River, featuring a 14th-century manor house, a functional water mill, and an extensive arboretum. The current house was primarily rebuilt in the mid-17th century and later renovated in the early 20th century. It houses an extensive collection of antiques, including Flemish tapestries, copper work, and fine art assembled by the final private owner, Willem Frederik Jan Laan. The grounds include an 18th-century coach house and an orangery that now serves as a gallery and tea house. The water mill, which dates back to the 15th century, is one of the few remaining in the region that still grinds grain commercially. The estate spans over 450 hectares of parkland and managed forest trails. Access to the main house is restricted to guided tours to protect the internal art collection. The estate remains a private foundation dedicated to maintaining the cultural integrity of the property.
