Unlike the lighter Somei Yoshino variety, these blossoms hang downward like small bells. The park is spread across various elevations, allowing for panoramic views of the Motobu Peninsula and the East China Sea. Walking paths are carved directly into the mountainside, winding through the dense canopy of blooming trees. The elevation provides a distinct microclimate, often resulting in cooler temperatures than the surrounding coastal areas.
