The park is famous for the large population of Soro Brook carp (Neolissochilus soroides) that inhabit the waterfall basin.
The 'Alongkorn Chedi' was constructed in 1876 to commemorate King Rama V’s visit to the waterfall.
The 'Pyramid Chedi' (Phra Chedi Phra Nang Ruea Lom) was built to contain the hair and ashes of Queen Sunanda Kumariratana.
The park is situated on the Khao Sa Bap mountain range, which features peaks reaching up to 924 meters above sea level.
