Overview

Formigal-Panticosa is a unified ski resort in the Spanish Pyrenees, linking the valleys of Portalet and Panticosa through a combined lift system. The resort offers 182 kilometers of skiable terrain across 147 pistes, making it one of the largest ski areas in Spain. It features specialized zones for children and families, including themed slopes like the 'Skity Area' and nursery slopes. The complex is divided into four distinct sectors: Formigal, Panticosa, Anayet, and Sarrios. The infrastructure includes a modern network of chairlifts and gondolas connecting high-altitude bowls and tree-lined runs. The resort's geographical position near the French border provides significant natural snowfall and high-altitude mountain scenery. During the off-season, the area serves as a base for hiking and high-mountain tourism within the Huesca province.
