Namsan Cable Car is a historic aerial tramway system connecting the base of Namsan Mountain to the N Seoul Tower complex. It provides a vertical ascent of approximately 138 meters over a 605-meter cable line. The system utilizes two large cabins capable of carrying 48 passengers each. It functions as the primary non-hiking route to reach the summit of Namsan. The facility has been in continuous operation since its inception in 1962. It remains a key vantage point for viewing the sprawling urban landscape of Seoul from the central Jung District. The journey lasts approximately three minutes one-way.
