The structure is situated on a naturally defensive promontory formed by the Stradówka and Kalinówka rivers. Visible defensive earthworks remain the primary architectural feature of the landscape. It is currently a protected archaeological site and an open-access public space. The site offers expansive views of the surrounding Małopolska countryside.
